Our accreditations

"Accreditation" derives from the Latin verb "accredere" – "to give credence". ISO/IEC 17011 states: "Third-party attestation formally demonstrating that a certification body has the competence to carry out specific assessment tasks."

An accreditation forms the basis for the comparability of conformity assessments and thus the evidence of the quality offered in each case. Duplicate checks for the mutual recognition of certificates and/or audit reports are no longer necessary.

RSM Certification GmbH is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH, DAkkS) for various standards. In this way we demonstrate our competence and the high quality of our processes. In addition, the auditors we appoint hold further qualifications in the form of certifications and accreditations, enabling them to carry out audits and certifications beyond this – for example Section 8a KRITIS, ISO 27001 based on IT-Grundschutz, or Smart Meter Gateway Administration.
